When I realized there were no decent rollout calculators out for Win32, I decided to whip one together to help in selecting gear ratios for my new HPI RS4 Pro 2.
Installation
Simply unzip the file into a directory of your choice using WinZip (or any other unzip utility). To run it, simply double-click on "rcgears.exe". You may make a shortcut to this exe if you like.
If you would like to add your car's gearbox/final drive ratio to the drop-down box, simply edit the "rcgears.dat" file and add a line for each new car you'd like in the list. For instance, my RS4 has a final drive of 2.1, so I'd add a line like this:
HPI RS4 Pro 2;2.1
Note: I'd like to add as many "stock" gear ratios as possible to the default rcgears.dat file. If you'd like to help, please send me your kit name and it's stock gearbox/final drive ratio. Thanks!

Since I have very little time to spare, I cannot support this program in any capacity. Consider it freeware! This means, you should NOT email me with any questions about how to use the program or questions about gearing. If you do send me messages with questions about use, I probably won't reply. Instead, you should try posting a message on rec.models.rc.land. If you would like to volunteer to create a FAQ or other documentation, please email me. Thanks!

Ideas for Future Versions
Although I do not currently have any idea when I'll have time to actually work on this, here are a few ideas I was tossing around. If you have any more, feel free to mail me with them!
